This presentation will be led by a physical and occupational therapist and will address the intrinsic and extrinsic causes of falls, how to determine if you are at an increased risk for falls, as well as the relationship between fear of falling and fall prevention. There will also be a discussion surrounding fall risk in an individual who is facing cognitive changes or a dementia or other neurodegenerative disease diagnosis.

Much of the bookkeeping work can be accomplished remotely. Museum growth necessitates additional separation of duties.

Join the South Loop Quintet for an afternoon featuring two captivating works, including a pillar of the chamber music repertoire. Written in one of his most inspired periods, Mozart’s String Quintet in C Major pushes the boundaries of the form with an unusually expansive opening movement and an irregularly phrased minuet. Antonín Dvořák’s masterful and folk-inspired American Quintet — brimming with vibrant melodies and rhythmic vitality — reflects Dvořák’s deep appreciation for the cultural tapestry of America and showcases the composer’s seamless blend of diverse musical influences.
