| Dr. Stephanie Groth, PT, DPT of University of Chicago Medicine discusses the importance of maintaining mobility as we age and the relation of exercise in maintaining mobility and lowering our risk for falls.
OUR SPEAKER
Dr. Stephanie Groth, PT, DPT obtained her doctorate of physical therapy at Saint Louis University, graduating in 2018. After completing her orthopedic residency training at University of Chicago Medicine, she became a board-certified specialist. Since her residency, Stephanie has worked at the main campus of University of Chicago Medicine as well as the South Shore Senior Center providing outpatient physical therapy for adults and seniors with a wide variety of conditions.

Walk and ride with Chicago Hyde Park Village! Since our founding, CHPV has joined this annual "Everybody Marches, Nobody Watches" July 4 Parade. It's a fun way to celebrate our values and community. Everyone is welcome. Bring bike, trike, scooter, vehicle, or walk.
CHPV will have a truck "float." Arrive at 10am with your patriotic 4th of July decorations to help decorate the truck.
