Volunteer with us at the CHPV Table during the Hyde Park Farmers Market. Volunteer for an hour or two (or more?) for 3rd Sunday "Senior Days."
 
3rd Sunday of the Month any time between 9am and 2pm

This is great visibility for CHPV, a good chance to see friends, and an opportunity to share about what we do and how we help both individuals and the community.
 
The Hyde Park Farmers' Market is held every Sunday 9am-2pm through September in the parking lot behind the Hyde Park Bank building on Old Lake Park Avenue between 54th Street and the HP Bank drive-thru windows.

Enjoy lunch, conversation, games, & free fitness with Coach Wesley. Make your mark on the "Where in the World" maps, browse the Book & Jewelry Exchange and Resource Table, and get tech help with UofC students. Registration is required for the optional lunch.
 
 
10:30 – Doors open for Exercise with Coach Wesley Pulphus
11:00 – Arrive to chat with friends
11:30 – Announcements and activities begin
12:00 – Lunch is served
1:00 – Wrap-up

Where in the World:
Join in a new activity! Place colored pins on two large maps marking where in the world you were born and where you grew up. You will also have a chance to answer a few simple questions on paper so we all can learn more about the many different journeys that brought together our CHPV community. Our thanks to Dorothy Strang and CHPV's DEIA Team for their efforts on this initiative.

Walk with Chicago Hyde Park Village! Since our founding, CHPV has joined this annual "Everybody Marches, Nobody Watches" July 4 Parade. It's a fun way to celebrate our values and community. Everyone is welcome. Bring bike, trike, scooter, ride, or walk. CHPV is proud to be a sponsoring partner of the 4th on 53rd Parade.

Join UChicago Medicine’s Urban Health Initiative along with Nikita Mokhashi, MD UChicago Medicine and Dr. Ansel Johnson, CEO, Healthy Living With a Vision, for a discussion of various eye conditions and vision care. There will be a live raffle but you must be present to win!
