Congratulations to CHPV member/volunteer and committed Hyde Park community-builder Kathy Huff for being awarded the 2023 Volunteer of the Year by the Illinois Council of Orchestras! | | | The Illinois Council of Orchestras presented Kathy with the award on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 for her wonderful work with the Hyde Park Youth Symphony. Kathy has been a long-time member of the Service League and is now co-chair of the Music Special Interest Group.
The Illinois Council of Orchestras presents annual awards for excellence in the field of music performance and for support of musical organizations. An awards panel of judges drawn from the Illinois Council of Orchestras Board of Directors and independent professional conductors and musicians reviewed nominations representing orchestras, youth orchestras, and chamber ensembles from throughout Illinois. | Walk with a Future Doc @ Promontory Point
