A discussion of the book and Q & A with author and grandson of Julius Rosenwald, Peter Ascoli, will discuss his biography of his grandfather: Julius Rosenwald: The Man Who Built Sears, Roebuck and Advanced the Cause of Black Education in the American South. Also, there will be a discussion of the proposed Julius Rosenwald and Rosenwald Schools National Historical Park.

The Hyde Park Book Club is jointly sponsored by the Hyde Park Historical Society and Chicago Hyde Park Village. All are welcome.
