What Climate Change Means to Chicago | Effects, Impact, Advocacy and Action
Chicago is encountering firsthand the effects and impact of climate change as we are experiencing record-high lake levels, warmer temperatures, and more frequent major storms. Climate change is here, now. Our best chance at ambitious action—is the window closing to protect our city and our way of life? We must act on climate change, as Governor Pritzker said, in a way that will match the gravity of this moment. We have to act now.
