Holi is the popular Festival of Spring, Color, Love falling typically on the full moon in March (March 14, 2025). While the Holi Festival is rooted in Hindu tradition, it is celebrated worldwide and inclusive of all people. Holi celebrates the arrival of spring and the blossoming of love. As a time to enjoying spring's abundant colors and say farewell to winter, the throwing of colored pigments is a popular way to celebrate. While we won't be making a mess of you or Gorder Hall at the Lunch Gathering, we invite you to wear your brightest colors, bring your good Springtime cheer, and enjoy great company and great food!

Please register by Sunday, March 23 to take advantage of the "early bird" registration offer. Registrations after that date will incur an additional $3 fee. Not sure how to register? Watch this video!

Where in the World:
Chicago Hyde Park Village works every day to build a welcoming and inclusive community for all members and friends. Look for two large maps where we encourage you to place colored pins marking where in the world you were born and where you grew up. You will also have a chance to answer a few simple questions on paper so we all can learn more about the many different journeys that brought together our CHPV community. Our thanks to Dorothy Strang and CHPV's DEIA Team for their efforts on this initiative.
Pay What You Can:
We strive to keep our activities as affordable as possible and honor a "pay what you can" rate for those who find the suggested fee to be a financial barrier to participation. To take advantage of the "pay what you can" offer, please register in advance and select to pay later during checkout. Then pay what you can at the door. Note: the Lunch Gathering suggested fee is already reduced for CHPV Access Members.
