Savor a hearty Polish-American lunch, enjoy recorded performances of traditional Polish music & dance, browse a colorful in-person display of authentic Polish heirlooms, share your own stories and learn about Polish culture with CHPV's own proudly-Polish Dorothy Pytel!

Free Memoir Writing Class!
 
Constructing a Life in Writing: An Introduction to Memoir and Personal Narrative
Wednesdays Oct 11–Dec 6
7–8pm at Augustana Lutheran Church (no class Nov 22)
 
In this 8-week course offered exclusively to the CHPV community, students will read about constructing memoirs, discuss short excerpts from selected memoirs, and produce a number of pieces of personal narrative. The instructor will offer written feedback on students’ writing.

October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month and UChicago is kicking things off early with the Fall Shred Fest. Bring your unwanted documents and e-waste safely and securely destroyed. Information Security team members will be onsite to offer tips on how you can protect yourself against identity theft. Plus a taco truck, fun giveaways, and a book drive donation spot!

Matching Challenge Grant
