Tour Description
Chicago Union Station is one of the great spaces in Chicago you must experience! Learn about the station’s history and design, while discovering the important role railroads played in the city’s development. Learn how this building plays a role in Chicago’s current hot real estate market of the West Loop.

An iconic building and a marvel of modern transportation for nearly a century, Chicago Union Station was originally designed by Daniel Burnham and completed by Graham, Anderson, Probst and White. A grand building worthy of the city’s status as a national railroad hub, it is a treasured part of Chicago history and a valued asset for Chicago’s future.

Chicago Union Station is one of the last grand train stations still operating in the U.S. and the only one in Chicago serving both Amtrak and Metra commuter rail. Take in the elaborate details of this historic landmark, including the stunning Great Hall, which recently has been restored to its original 1925 glory.

Following the guided tour we will walk to the restaurant for lunch.
