How many of us know someone who is part of the LGBTQ+ community? Friends, family, neighbors? How do we make safe spaces for them? What can I do to support people who aren't normally supported by our society? What does it mean to be a good ally? These are a few questions that will be discussed by Cierra Balog and Lynne Perryman during this fireside chat. They will also be discussing the nuances of living with LBGTQ+ identities and what that means to them. Some things you may be able to learn from this event and use moving forward include allyship, understanding and accepting marginalized identities, and knowing when to speak up versus when to listen.

HANDOUTS
