In this followup to CHPV's highly popular presentation last year, Dr. Farooq returns to discuss macular degeneration and other eye conditions that occur more frequently as we age.

OUR SPEAKER

Dr. Asim Farooq, University of Chicago Medicine

Dr. Farooq is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Science at the University of Chicago. He provides comprehensive care for a wide range of eye conditions and performs cataract surgery and corneal transplantation surgery. Dr. Farooq has a particular expertise in diagnosing and treating patients with cornea and external eye diseases, including viral infections of the cornea.
