30th Annual July 4th on 53rd
Hyde Park

Fireworks flying in the night sky

The 4th on 53rd Parade is a great way to celebrate an old fashioned July Fourth.

A day of family and kid-focused activities in Nichols Park will be held instead of the annual July 4th parade down 53rd Street.

The parade returns in 2022.

The 4th on 53rd Planning Committee is thrilled that, although there will be no parade this year, we WILL hold a festive 4th of July celebration in Nichols Park again this year!

To pull it all off, we need some volunteers for various aspects of the event.

Specific needs for children’s field game support below. There will be many more needs, however, so if you are available to pitch in on the 4th, please write back with your availability and and special interests that you may have.
