What is this?
Join the Zoom CHPV Wednesday Drop-in

MacArthur Foundation | A 40-Year Legacy of Social Impact

Don Meyer, Senior Program Office, MacArthur Fellows Program, will provide an overview of the MacArthur Foundation: what it does, how it works and what they are learning. In addition, Don Meyer will briefly discuss the multi-site exhibition, Toward Common Cause: Art, Social Change, and the MacArthur Fellows Program at 40. This expansive, multi-venue is presented in multiple locations and neighborhoods across Chicago throughout 2021. A group show is on exhibit at the Smart Museum of Art, UChicago until December 19, 2021.
The John D and Catherine T MacArthur Foundation supports creative people, effective institutions, and influential networks building a more just, verdant, and peaceful world. MacArthur is placing a few big bets that truly significant progress is possible on some of the world’s most pressing social challenges, including advancing global climate solutions, decreasing nuclear risk, promoting local justice reform in the US, and reducing corruption in Africa’s most populous country, Nigeria. The MacArthur Foundation recently announced the 2021 Fellows Meet the 2021 MacArthur Fellows https://www.macfound.org/programs/fellows/. The MacArthur Fellows Program is one of their most prominent and well-known programs.

Enjoy Your Own Brown Bag While Listening and Watching.

Email info@chpv.org for further information and Zoom Meeting ID.

All are Welcome.
