ALLISON HARTMAN

Allison Hartman was one of the founders of Chicago Hyde Park Village, a long time officer and board member, and a dear friend to many. Allison died in 2019 and now, through the generosity of her husband John Millington, CHPV is honored to celebrate her memory through the establishment of the Allison Hartman Memorial Fund.

As a lawyer, Allison knew the importance of end-of-life decisions and the creation of a will. She aided and encouraged many of us to be prepared. The Allison Hartman Memorial Fund will support education around end-of-life planning, including Last Wills and Testaments, and help CHPV members find legal advice. It will also provide CHPV members with subsidies and financial assistance for the creation of wills and related legal documents. Such advanced preparations will empower our members to secure their wishes for the future and reduce potential burdens on loved ones. 

We are asking everyone who knew Allison to join us in creating this memorial to her by contributing to the Allison Hartman Memorial Fund.
