Pastor Nancy Goede and her husband and church administrator Jim Vondracek are retiring from Augustana Lutheran Church of Hyde Park at the end of the summer and moving to Pennsylvania. Their last day is Sunday, August 23. Following the 9:30am service that day, the Augustana congregation will host a farewell reception for Pastor Nancy and Jim in Gorder Hall and are pleased to extend the invitation to the CHPV community. The reception will start about 10:45am. Refreshments will be served. Augustana Church Council member Dan Friedrich is organizing a "Roast" of Nancy and Jim to take place during the reception.
