Monthly Lunch Gathering

Enjoy lunch, conversation, games, & free fitness with Coach Wesley. Make your mark on the "Where in the World" maps, browse the Book & Jewelry Exchange and Resource Table, and get tech help with UofC students. Registration is required for the optional lunch.

Catering provided by Hyde Park Produce. We're excited our neighborly grocer is open for business again!

Where in the World:
Join in a new activity! Place colored pins on two large maps marking where in the world you were born and where you grew up. You will also have a chance to answer a few simple questions on paper so we all can learn more about the many different journeys that brought together our CHPV community. New activity: region tables — until lunch is served, tables will be marked based on the places of birth you have indicated on the maps. We invite you to sit with others born in the same region to make new friends or find new conversation topics. Our thanks to Dorothy Strang and CHPV's DEIA Team for their efforts on this initiative.

4th on 53rd Parade

Parking Lot behind HP Bank Building at 54th and Old Lake Park

 

Walk and ride with Chicago Hyde Park Village! Since our founding, CHPV has joined this annual "Everybody Marches, Nobody Watches" July 4 Parade. It's a fun way to celebrate our values and community. Everyone is welcome. Bring bike, trike, scooter, vehicle, or walk.

 

CHPV will have a truck "float." Arrive at 10am with your patriotic 4th of July decorations to help decorate the truck.
