CHPV Health Art and Aging Bus Tour - Elmhurst Art Museum

The bus tour includes the following...

• Bus transportation to and from Elmhurst.
  
• A docent-led tour of the exhibition Gertrude Abercrombie: Portrait of the Artist as a Landscape at the Elmhurst Art Museum. Abercrombie (1909-1977) was a painter based in Chicago, Hyde Park, who created surreal and dream-like imagery.
• A tour of the Mies van der Rohe designed McCormick House (adjacent to the Elmhurst Museum) and the exhibition In This House, featuring the work of five artists. The McCormick House – a single-family home designed in 1952 – is one of only three residences designed and built by Mies in the United States – and one of only two open to the public.
• A buffet lunch at the Cottage Hill Station Kitchen & Pub which is next door to the Elmhurst Art Museum

• Registration and Tour Fee - $32.00 paid in advance (Note: your total charge will include a $2.00 Connivence Fee)
• The tour registration fee of $32.00 includes bus transportation, admission to the art museum & McCormick House guided tours, buffet lunch including tax and gratuity.
