The DOVETAIL SERIES is a musical dialogue between Chicago’s north and south sides, a collision and collusion of cultures in partnership with Theaster Gates’s Rebuild Foundation.
For our second installment, we team up with artist/composer Mikel Patrick Avery (Black Monks of Mississippi, Rob Mazurek's Moon Cycles, Chicago Jazz Philharmonic), a versatile musician known for his incorporation of non-musical objects in his creations.
