Please join us as we Celebrate 15 Years of the Village Movement with Dr. Atul Gawande. We will webcast this event live at the University of Chicago Accelerator, 5225 S. Cottage Grove, Monday September 25th, from 3:30pm - 6:30pm. The conversation, entitled "Being Mortal's Villages: The Value of Community and Choice as We Grow Older," will feature a discussion on aging, living life with purpose, and how we can transform the possibilities for the later chapters of everyone's lives. If you are planning on attending this event, please let us know as we will serve refreshments, and we will need to know how many to plan for. If members need transportation to and from the event, please let us know by Friday, Sept. 22th. We need to arrange for drivers, as we will have most attendees meet up at Augustana Lutheran Church of Hyde Park, 5500 S. Woodlawn, to carpool. Full members can still request rides to and from their residences. We are also asking for a donation of $5 to cover the cost of the event.
