Get Aid to Earthquake Victims in Syria

The earthquakes in Turkey and Syria have been on the minds of many people in the past month. In case you are still looking for a way to support the people most impacted by the earthquake, here's another opportunity. CHPV's staff member Dorothy Pytel has set up a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds that will bring relief supplies via a connection with her sister-in-law who works just across the border in Erbil, Iraq for an organization called Green Desert. Green Desert is preparing to bring relief supplies to Syrian earthquake victims in early-mid March but needs help from others to cover the costs.

Coincidentally, the entire Pytel family will be visiting Erbil this March (a trip planned months ago to visit Dorothy's sister-in-law) and will provide updates via the GoFundMe platform. The four Pytels also stand willing and ready to help with simple things such as loading supplies onto trucks heading towards Syria while they are in Erbil.
