We will be celebrating the life of Leon Despres through his book Challenging the Daley Machine: A Chicago Alderman's Memoir, and Chicago Afternoons with Leon by Kenan Heise. We will be joined by Leon's longtime friend and law partner, Tom Geoghegan, and his Leon's son, Bob Despres.

The Hyde Park Book Club is jointly sponsored by the Hyde Park Historical Society and Chicago Hyde Park Village. All are welcome.
