Group 2 — New Participants

October–December 2025
Location: Augustana Lutheran Church, first floor GA Room
Time: 4-5:30pm
There are two groups meeting on different Tuesdays of the quarter: Group 1 is intended for returning students who participated in our prior memoir writing class. Group 2 (this group) is intended for new participants. Each group is limited to 10 participants.

Associate/Full Member: $30

PLEASE NOTE:
We strongly encourage everyone interested in this class to attend the Organizational Meeting on Thursday, September 30, 4-5pm. This meeting is important to frame expectations, share more, and help us determine the class focus. If you cannot attend this meeting and are genuinely interested in the class, please contact the instructor, Rosellen Brown at mhoffman282@gmail.com prior to registering.
The memoir writing class that we enjoyed in the spring led by Rosellen Brown will begin again in October. New and repeating writers are welcome but we strongly urge EVERYONE who is interested to attend our organizational meeting on Tuesday, September 30 at 4 pm in the first floor Gorder Hall at Augustana Lutheran Church, 5500 S. Woodlawn Ave.
About Your Instructor:
Award winning author, long-time writing instructor, and CHPV member Rosellen Brown coaches you on your memoir writing journey. Rosellen has taught writing seminars and workshops both nationally and internationally and served for 28 years on the writing faculty at the School of the Art Institute. She has published numerous volumes of fiction and poetry, most recently The Lake on Fire.
