Wooded Island Workday April 22 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm We are going to have our normal 4th Saturday workday on Wooded Island this coming Saturday, April 22nd. It coincides with Earth Day so that will be a “twofor.” The center trail that was cleared and mulched by us last fall looks really good but needs some replenishing, so we’ll be doing that. By next Saturday, a lot of the trees and shrubs that have started to bud will be in full flower (the Redbuds, Cherry trees, some Crabs) so it’ll be a beautiful working environment. We’ll meet at the south bridge at 10:00. If you come late you’ll find us along the west path about halfway down the Island. That’s where the mulch is being dumped. Look forward to seeing you!
